70 Jahre Kunst am Bau in Deutschland

Die zum Jubiläum „70 Jahre Kunst am Bau in Deutschland“ 2020 vom Bundesamt für Bauwesen und Raumordnung entwickelte Ausstellung bietet erstmalig eine Zusammenschau von baugebundener Kunst aus beiden deutschen Staaten, die zwischen 1950 und 1990 sowie seit der Wiedervereinigung in Bundesauftrag entstanden ist. In elf Kapiteln werden rund 65 Kunstwerke für Bundesinstitutionen im In- und Ausland vorgestellt und in ihrem historischen, politischen und architektonischen Kontext gewürdigt. Ein eigenes Kapitel ist dabei der Kunst am Bau an der Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin gewidmet, das auch die Arbeiten im unlängst instandgesetzten und erweitertem Haus Unter den Linden präsentiert.
Roland Fuhrmann ist mit seiner Arbeit ZUSAMMENHALT für das Berliner Bundesministerium des Innern beteiligt. Die Eröffnung findet am Donnerstag, den 17. November 2022 um 18 Uhr im Foyer der Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin Haus Potsdamer Straße statt. Hierzu laden wir Sie sehr herzlich ein.

70 years of art in architecture in Germany

The exhibition developed by the Federal Office for Building and Regional Planning to mark the anniversary „70 Years of Art in Architecture in Germany“ in 2020 offers for the first time a synopsis of building-related art from both German states that was commissioned by the federal government between 1950 and 1990 and since reunification. In eleven chapters, around 65 works of art for federal institutions in Germany and abroad are presented and appreciated in their historical, political and architectural context. A separate chapter is devoted to art in architecture at the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin, which also presents the works in the recently renovated and expanded Haus Unter den Linden.
Roland Fuhrmann is involved with his work ZUSAMMENHALT for the Berlin Federal Ministry of the Interior. The opening will take place on Thursday, 17 November 2022 at 6 pm in the foyer of the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin Haus Potsdamer Straße. You are cordially invited to attend.
