Kraftwerk V – Vockerode

Stillstand ist kein Zustand, sondern der Beginn einer Richtungsänderung. Das hohle, stählerne Gedärm des ehemaligen Kraftwerkes wird in ein riesiges Instrument verwandelt und die Stille gerät zum Tanz aus produktiver Rhythmik. Dabei wird den alten Dampfrohren, Kesseln und Stahlkonstruktionen ihre eigene Stimme entlockt.
50 Hammer-Module sind in der 15 Stockwerke hohen und 300 m langen Kraftwerkshalle an Rohre und Kessel geschweißt. Eine Programmsteuerung erzeugt akustischen Industrieaktivismus als abwechslungsreiches, staubaufwirbelndes Klangerlebnis. Die „Hammersinfonie“ der Musique concrète beginnt aller halben Stunden und dauert jeweils 3 Minuten.

Power plant V

A standstill is not a state, but the beginning of a change of direction. The hollow steel intestine of the former power plant is transformed into a huge instrument, and the stillness is transformed into a dance and productive rhythms. Their own voice is thereby coaxed from the old steam pipes, cauldrons, and steel constructions.
50 hammer modules are welded onto pipes and cauldrons in the 15-story, 300-meter-long power plant hall. A program control creates acoustic industrial activism as a diverting, dust-raising experience of sound. The „hammer symphony“ of the Musique concrète begins each half hour and lasts 3 minutes each time.

Centrale V

L’immobilisme n’est pas un état, mais le début d’un changement de direction. Les boyaux d’acier creux de l’ancienne centrale électrique sont transformés en un immense instrument et le silence devient une danse au rythme productif. Ce faisant, les vieux tuyaux à vapeur, les chaudières et les structures en acier sont amenés à s’exprimer.
50 modules Hammer sont soudés à des tuyaux et des chaudières dans le hall de la centrale, haut de 15 étages et long de 300 mètres. Un système de contrôle des programmes génère un activisme industriel acoustique sous la forme d’une expérience sonore variée et soulevant la poussière. La „symphonie des marteaux“ commence toutes les demi-heures et dure 3 minutes à chaque fois.
